Sunday morning here in Australia and I’m back into the routine… the routine of getting up early (even with a hangover) and going for an early Sunday morning surf with the boys.
What a glorious morning it is as well!!!
Today I wore white speedos under my wetsuit and I only wish that the white speedos was all that I was wearing while surfing. I’m sure most of you guys know the liberating feeling of wearing ONLY speedos. I get that exhilarating feeling in hottubs and stuff BUT the other day when I went for a run and stripped down to my red speedos on the beach… that is something amazing.
Maybe I’m crazy but let me know (leave a comment) if you agree with me.
OK, I have a full days work ahead of me. The Swannies (Sydney Swans AFL team) are playing later today so I’m getting we’ll be BBQ’ing. I love being on holidays but it is nice to be back.

Hi Dave I totally agree. In the summer I run my local beach in White Aussiebums 1.5’s loose with the purple side flashes. I run on the surf edge so they get wet and you know what happens to the white nylon when wet! It always does it for me and I’ve got a reaction now just thinking about it. Cheers Rick

Hey Walt I totally agree. Life is definitely not a dress rehearsal so give it your all every day and enjoy. Tiny Speedos are what I am comfortable in and nobody is going to change that. Cheers Rick

Yes, Dave…it’d be nice if things in my daily life allowed for this more. Imagine hearing that one’s next college class not only required a textbook, but a uniform, and that uniform is a swimsuit, even though swimming or being in the water will not be involved in the class itself! Of course, that would get me fired immediately, but still…one can dream, eh? 😉
Hey Dave unfortunately I am thousands of mile away in Jersey in the Channel Islands UK. Just ending winter here so will soon be back to my jogging and cant think of anything better than you running alongside. You might have to sort out a certain bulge though!

I’ve never been over there, how is the speedo culture there? I’d love to be able to run down my beach in a speedo, or surf in a speedo, but it just isn’t really appropriate yet.

Gang…Here in the Santa Cruz area, just south of San Francisco, there are plenty of nude beaches…so Speedos are like formal dressing for the very shy….LIVE YOUR LIFE…you will soon be 70 and be sorry if you don’t.
Dave when your in SFO you should take in the “water garden” in San Jose….Google it.
