It has been maybe two years since I created the members area on this blog and I think it has been a success.

The idea behind making a members area was so that I could share more.  More pics of me, more of my experiences and more of my thoughts.  I don’t think I ever really posted any of my speedo selfies before having the members area.

As I’m not out to most of my friends, I like to keep a little bit of privacy and while membership is only $5, I feel it gives me a little bit of peace of mind keeping some things behind that membership wall.

It is a little bit of a pain having to always write “Sorry guys, the rest of this is members only” and I can see one day making the blog just members only.  There are about 1,200 members and I’d love to be able to focus just on sharing stuff with those guys.  Before that I need to make some of the payment stuff easier. PayPal has been a bitch and closed my account recently and I want to be able to have more ways for you guys to pay if you decide to be a member.

Since I feel like the members only stuff has worked here, I’ve decided to make my bisexual blog (BisexualDave.com) have a similar members area.  It seems that when I post about my bisexual experiences on here most readers/fans aren’t interested so I like to keep that stuff separate.

Membership here will include membership to the bisexual blog (shoot me an email if you’d like a login, please include your current username).

Okie dokie guys, things are getting back online… finally.

Last Monday there was a fire at the datacenter where the servers are hosted that run this little speedo porn empire of mine (Little and Empire don’t quite fit) and it meant my sites went offline.

This is what my server admin Kip is paid all that money to keep track of and everything is/was backed up 100%.

These datacenters are HUGE and are big business and they really don’t go offline very often.  If costs everyone a fortune when they do.  When it went offline we didn’t expect it to take very long before it came back online.  By Wednesday morning Kip and I decided that since the datacenter hadn’t come back online, we would move to the backup servers.  This is 20 hours of work for Kip (on top of his usual schedule) and then rolling back to the original settings is about the same amount of work so it is a decision we don’t take lightly.

By Wednesday night the backups started to propagate through the web and things started coming back online.

I can report now that everything is back online.  For some people your proxy/ISP won’t have updated but that shouldn’t take too long to flush through the web.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and your concern when we first went offline.  It is nice to know that so many off you really missed my sites.

I had a camping trip planned for this weekend, but I have a lot of work to catch up on.

Lots of new movies will be popping up over the next few days so I hope you guys are ready.

It is a nice day here and I think I’m going to go to the pool for a quick swim, then down to the beach for a nap.  I’m not that old, I’m just running on a few hours of sleep.

Kip and I were working on some of the payment stuff here yesterday afternoon and 18 hours later it is back working!!!

Keeping things like this site running really does take a lot of time and I suppose that is why not many other people run websites like this one.

But, the weather forecast here looks like rubbish for the next week or more and today it is really quite nice.

So, I’m going to go work on my speedo tan a little bit up at Birdie Beach and then I’ll be working for a week or more straight.

I really do love the members here and on my site SpeedoFetish.com.  It is those guys who help me keep things running and it is fun chatting with them because they obviously share my speedo fetish.

Daily I receive lots of emails and I don’t have the time to respond to them all but I have always taken extra time to respond to members and I really enjoy it.
