For those of you who are long time followers/fans, you’ll know I’ve had several attempts at creating my own line of speedos.  This is kind of like my site SpeedoFetish.com, it is as much a selfish thing for my own purposes and if other people want to enjoy it as well then helping pay for it is a bonus.

SpeedoFetish.com started as a way to store my own speedo photos, at high school we leant about databases and so I started categorizing my speedo photos. Turned out that other people like it and now SpeedoFetish.com is by far the most awesome speedo porn website anywhere.

That is the idea I have for my own line of speedos and finally I think I have some guys who can help me out with it. I have a bit of a wish list of what I like in a speedo which I’ll talk about more another time but I am always on the look out for great design ideas in a speedo and this was something I came across this morning, don’t you find the liner pattern interesting on this white speedo?  By nature white speedos are see through which can be awesome, or cannot be awesome.

What do you guys think of the way the liner works on this speedo?

My line of ‘Dave Evans Swimwear’ hit a bit of a hurdle this week.  I’ve had a manufacturer that I’ve worked with in the past and I really enjoyed working with them.

Over the last couple of months I’ve been working with Kip designing a new line with some things that we both like in our speedos.  Drawstring that isn’t on the inside, putting some stitching on the drawstring so that it doesn’t come out in the wash, a really nice lycra that feels amazing, the perfect cut, no lining among other things.  I had placed an order with the supplier to make up 6 prototypes which I was going to give out to some long time supporters and the manufacturer completely blew it.

Such a disappointment after all the back and forward and I thought we had a really great product…. all be it in our heads.

We did make some progress but I’m going to be looking for a new manufacturer.  If you guys have any ideas let me know.

OK, I’m off for an early Saturday morning surf before the wind gets up.  After last weekends partying my liver needs a break so I’m behaving myself this weekend.

This week I noticed two different guys wearing AussieBum speedos at the pool which was pretty cool.

Is AussieBum that much of a gay brand that I should assume these guys are gay or not?  I know when they started Sean (AussieBum Founder) tried to distance himself from the ‘gay’ side of speedos.  He hasn’t supported any online gay speedo stuff.  Since he started trying to get into the surf life saving clubs I can understand him taking that view.

Dave Evans Swimwear is definitely embracing gay guys wearing briefs.

Alex hasn’t been able to make it to the pool this week unfortunately but the Surfer Chick saw a pair of my AussieBums in the shower yesterday and commented on them.  Turns out she swam in high school and is keen to come to the pool.  Alex and Surfer Chick in lycra….. I’ve died and gone to heaven.

Here are some hot AussieBum guys for you to feast your eyes on.  I’ve never seen these white AussieBums in the first photo, they look amazing!!!

I have never owned a pair of yellow speedos. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pair of yellow speedos on a guy in the flesh.  I’m not really a fan.

Until I saw these pics.  Yummy!!!!

Does anyone know who makes these?

I really like how the drawstring is on the outside – what do you guys think?  Would you like that on my DE Swimwear or do you prefer the drawstring on the inside?

This week working on my line of DE Swimwear is on my list of things to do.  It is moving forward although a little slower than I would like.

When I see photo shoots like the pics in this post it helps my motivation for sure in the hope that one day I’ll be able to organize shoots like this!!!

I’ll keep you guys posted on how the DE Swimwear stuff develops – hopefully I’ll be able to offer them by the end of May, just in time for the northern hemisphere summer.

This pic is from the same photo shoot as above, all the guys look sensational but I think the guy in the middle, wearing the red speedo looks the hottest…. maybe it is just the speedo though.  What do you guys think?

I’ve had this photo for a few weeks and although the quality isn’t that great there is just something about it which turns me on.

Here are a few ideas of maybe why this photo is such a turn on:

• One guy nude and one guy in a speedo….. you know what is going to happen next.
• The guy in the green speedo looks like he is already boning up.
• I love where their hands are.

I’ll get back to writing about Kip’s last night foursome and today I’m also working on my line of DE Swimwear.  I’m pushing and hoping that I can get it live by Xmas.  I’ll be running some ideas past you guys to see what you want.
