Brenton is an old online mate of mine who started his blog Aussielicious.com.au around the same time I started AussieSpeedoGuy.com.  We’ve worked on different things over the years and these days Kip even keeps his blog online.  Unlike me and my passion for speedos, Brenton takes it a little bit further and loves being nude.

It is fun following his adventures on his blog and yesterday he posted the comments below regarding speedos and modesty.

Given how paranoid most guys are in gym locker rooms about anyone seeing their junk you’d be forgiven for thinking that they go to the beach in neck-to-knee swimwear from an era long gone. You’d be wrong. Apparently all it takes for guys to feel comfortable is a tiny little piece of fabric covering their genitals. Australian’s all around the country are fans of speedo style swimwear. Sure there are guys that wear boardshorts but, especially in Sydney all the guys that live in the gym and get changed under a towel are the same guys wearing the skimpiest, tightest swimwear around. More often than not that same swimwear is designed to emphasise the exact area that they never show.

All of the popular brands seem to have a “pouch” style of swimwear designed to highlight and thrust forward your junk. I get that it makes it appear a bit more impressive than it really may be but it’s not going to turn a 4 incher into a 12 incher is it? Speedo style swimwear and even boardshorts when they are wet really don’t leave a lot to the imagination so it’s amazing that it only takes that little piece of fabric to not only preserve our modesty, barely, but also to give us the confidence to walk down the beach feeling great.

Interesting thoughts, during my time in America I found that it was the opposite in the locker rooms at the pool, guys were happy to strut around butt naked but nobody else would wear a speedo.  But in Aussie it is the opposite and I agree with Brenton’s sentiments.

Over the weekend I have been organizing the stories I’ve written about Alex from when he corned me at the Beery (Beer Garden) telling me that he knew I was ‘Dave Speedo Evans’, to him fooling around with me for the first time, to his first time giving anal, his first time receiving anal and our latest sexcapade that I wrote about, which was a sex party at his ‘boyfriend’ Adam place.

I thought it would be fun to ‘interview’ Alex.

I’ve broken it up into 3 parts….  How it all started, anal and future.  This was a bit of a project and it took much much longer than I expected.  Once Alex said it would be fun, I wrote out a couple of pages of questions.  My first idea was to email them to him but I thought that might be a little boring and I wanted to get more candid answers so Alex came over, we went for a surf then sat at my breakfast bar and I recorded the answers.  Then I had to write them all up.

Dave: Alex, thanks for agreeing to this interview for my blog fans.  As long as you don’t plead the Fifth I think they’ll like it.

Alex: Sure, sure.

Dave: Shame we can’t really speedo it up right now but being a Friday afternoon anyone could just walk in on us, but this is where it all started.

Alex:

Dave: I know the answer to this next question but for the benefit of the blog fans, had you ever done anything with a guy before?

Alex:

Dave: Ever fantasize about guys when you were growing up?

Alex:

Dave: What happened to him?  Think there is a chance to tick off that ‘Great White Buffallo’?

Alex:

Dave: You never know, I didn’t think you had any gay tendencies.  You were in a long term relationship with a girl.

Alex:

Dave: I’m asking the questions here, hahaha.  No I had absolutely no idea, I’m guessing she didn’t either.  I would have been open to a threesome with you two though, would that have been on the cards?

Alex:

Dave: What pushed you over the gay edge?

Alex:

Dave: Technically you did proposition me, what gave you the courage to do that?

Alex:

I get a bunch of emails, some great, some nasty but overall pretty good.  I don’t always have time to reply, unless of course it is a member in which case I really make sure that I reply as promptly as possible (I love my members).

I’m sure you get loads of emails but just wanted to send a message to say hi (with a couple of private pics!). I’m straight (bi-curious) but I’ve been following your blog for a few years. Speedos are my guilty pleasure.. I can’t get enough of seeing guys in speedos and I get hard within seconds of putting mine on! The end of the calendar year in Australia is always hectic, it is the middle of summer, the middle of school holidays and everything it feels is a cluster.

But for me, that is when things get a little quieter – I’m guessing people all over the world are busy that time of year so they aren’t buying as much gay speedo porn so I get to be a little more chilled out than usual.

I have a list of things to share with you guys this week:

1. I need to sit down and tell you about Alex and his boyfriend (Adam) playing with me at Birdie Beach last Monday.

3. I have half written a blog post asking you guys if you think speedos are a gateway to gay experiences and more specifically, are red speedos a gateway to gay experiences.  My vote is yes but I’ll explain why I had this thought in detail.

Do you guys get Twitter?

I have a Twitter account (@AussieSpeedoGuy) and I have like 500 followers (compared to 5,000 daily visitors on this blog).  I just don’t get Twitter though – the few people I did ‘follow’ they posted soooooo much dribble I couldn’t keep up with it.  And the people I want to follow, their stuff doesn’t come up because they aren’t ‘tweeting’ every 5 minutes.

I’d love to hear what you guys think.

I have a personal Facebook account (my Grandma is my friend) and I check on it pretty much every day, but Facebook shuts everything down related to ‘Adult’.

Here is something I saw on Twitter today – you can tell this guy loves speedos and he looks fantastic in that little purple number.

Around the middle of the month Kip and I butted heads a little bit on the price of blog membership.  Kip wanted it to be like $30 – I wanted to keep it as cheap as possible – like $5 (which is a little cheaper than possible – hehe).

We decided to make a bet on it as well – who ever looses has to snowboard down an entire snowboarding run in Breckenridge, on Australia Day 2017 (January 26th) wearing my pair of Australian Flag Turbo speedos – nothing else of course.

On the 15th, I thought I’d give Kip’s idea a trial… it didn’t work.
