Do you guys know, I have never been to a gay wedding.  I can’t believe you guys have never invited me?  I suppose maybe I associate with too many str8 and married (to a woman) guys.

I once went to a gay bachelors party in in the states and it was just as debaucherous as you can imagine (click here to read what I wrote about that experience).

Check out the guys pictured below, that looks like my kind of wedding.  I am going to assume the bloke in the middle is the best man….. the mind wanders…..

My trip to Lake Powell for a bucks/bachelor weekend was fantastic!!!

Lake Powell is part of a hydro/irrigation scheme on the Colorado River and it is down in Utah/Arizona.  I’ve never been down that way and the scenery was just awesome, the weather was perfect and I couldn’t believe the water – fresh water that was clean and warm…. beats salt water any day.

The boat was speedo friendly and Kip and I weren’t the only ones to wear speedos pretty much the entire time.

Here are the speedos that I took with me: my black nylon Corka’s, my Aussie flag Turbos, my black ADIDAS 3-stripe speedos and my red Arena speedos.  The photos below are near where we tied the boat up…. I’m wearing the red Arena’s at the time.

I have a bunch of photos from the trip, in the interests of privacy for me and the other guys, I will only be publishing those photos behind the members area.  Also, there was a guy that joined Kip and I in our bedroom most nights.  He loved speedos and he just sent me a bunch of speedo selfies of his which I’ll be sharing with you guys tomorrow.

A quick post for you guys before Kip and I leave for the house boat….

Last night we stayed in a crappy motel so that we could be at the marina at 8am sharp to load up the boat.  I’m starting to get excited and the weather here is much nicer than Colorado.

Neither Kip or I are sure whether it will be a speedo friendly boat or not so we are packing dork shorts unfortunately.  I am also packing my Aussie Turbo speedos, my nylon Corka speedos which are just super comfortable and the fit is great and my lycra ADIDAS 3-stripe speedos.

Lets hope that the dork shorts come down……

If the boat is speedo friendly – I intend to spend the entire time ONLY wearing speedos…..

I’ve been told I won’t have net or mobile access while we are on the lake so I will talk to you guys in a couple of days.

Late night blog post from my couch.

The last few days have been fun playing tour guide to the American chick.  She is a good sport and I think she is having fun.

Friday BBQ went down well but unfortunately the weather hasn’t been great.  Tomorrow (Sunday) looks like a shocker, windy, cold and raining so it looks like the American will get a taste of some Australian culture…. sitting around watching sport and drinking piss all day – for those who don’t know, ‘piss’ refers to alcohol.

There was an interesting admission from the American chick tonight but I know that she reads this blog and her friend from Colorado reads this blog and she might have been a little tipsy so I’m not going to mention any more just yet.

One thing I haven’t mentioned to you guys is that I’m going to the US at the end of the month. Some good friends of Kip’s are getting married, I’ve met them a few times and they were nice enough to ask me, I think maybe they didn’t expect that I would accept and fly all the way over.  The main thing I’m heading over for is the bachelor party which is on some lake down in Arizona/New Mexico which sounds like a blast.

It will also be my first gay wedding – I’m not sure if that means there are 2 bachelors or if someone is playing the roll of the bachelorette?  I’m not sure how to broach that subject but I’ll find out one way or the other.

I’ll tell you guys more about it closer to the date but I’m excited, I’ve never been to North America during their summer and it will be interesting to see Breckenridge during the summer as well.
