Does anyone else have a hangover from the US Election?  I know people who have hangovers from being gutted/disappointed, but I also know so people who have a hangover from celebrating and are optimistic.

This blog is about speedos and I’m sure everyone has had to deal with the social media barrage over the last couple of days so I’m going to keep me mouth shut on the topic (I don’t get to vote in the US election so my opinion has zero weighting as well).  And I hate it when celebrities or athletes come out and talk politics – I’m a celebrity right?

I’m going to pick out a pair – I really like the last ones and to my pleasant surprise, they are a jockstrap!!!  Right now, I don’t have a jockstrap in my speedo drawer.

Last night I went around to one of the boys place for a poker night.  Normally our poker nights end up with all the troops out on the town but in the end it was only me and one other guy who I lost 10 minutes after we got to the pub.

I haven’t been out in ages and it was a fantastic night – I met this cute blond chick and if I hadn’t been so drunk I think I could have closed the deal.  She gave me her fone number so I’ll shoot her a txt on Monday afternoon (what do you guys think?).

Thing is that since I’ve been back I’ve been drinking way too much.  I was really looking forward to getting back and getting into a routine while the warm weather lasts.  I started off great but last week I slacked off.  So this week I’m on a self imposed alcohol ban.  I’ll let you guys know how it works out of course.

I just ordered some underwear – in my ‘underwear’ draw there is one pair of underwear and everything else is speedos.  It isn’t something I mind but a change is as good as a holiday.

I’m starting my alcohol abstinence week by going for a swim.

I still have nearly 2 weeks in Colorado and it has been great to have a change and think about a few things. The last post was a result of me thinking about having a serious crack and getting uber fit again and maybe getting back into some marathon running or triathlons.

This post, again sitting here thinking about some things I normally don’t get to think about, is about mens underwear.  I did a stocktake this afternoon and I have 3 pairs of underwear.  Obviously, I wear speedos A LOT!!!!

I’m thinking maybe I should add some underwear to my ‘speedo filled underwear draw’.  I’ve always been a fan of the big name mens underwear lines, Calvin Klein have some really nice material and it isn’t as expensive as all the niche gay underwear brands.

Maybe or maybe just stick to speedos?

Girls get to have slumber parties…. underwear, pillow fights and practicing making out.

I wish I got to have a ‘boys’ slumber party when I was growing up.  Perhaps if I can manage to move into my own pad here I’ll have to organise a boys slumber party.

It is funny, I get a bunch of emails from readers but the most common email I get (at least 6 a day) is people asking me to email them more speedos photos. 

What the?

This blog has over 1,000 posts now and pretty much ever post has 1 or more photos.  The ‘Speedo Photo of the Day‘ on SwimmerBoyz means you can see nearly 100 speedo photos AND if you part with a while $15 you can see 6,500+ photos as a member of SwimmerBoyz. 

I’m baffled at the request – yesterday someone even left a comment which reads like most of the emails I get.

Speaking of speedo photos, I found these two pics a while back and I’ve been meaning to post about them….

The first pic is of my Andrew Christian speedos – the ones I have are in red though and I LOVE THEM!!!  The material on them is really nice.  Thing is, I accidentally left them in Colorado with Kip so perhaps I might have to head over there and get them back.

The 2nd pic of of a pair of AussieBum undies that I bought years ago that I just found.  They look amazing but their fit is weird and I’ve never really liked them.

Does any one else own either of these speedos/undies?
