I only just found out that it is a long weekend in the US. Juneteeth… I had never heard of it so had to look it up.
I wish I was in the US right now, weather is getting warmer and two public holiday weekends close together (Juneteenth and July 4th coming up). There should be some fun speedo weather coming up for my American friends.
Has anyone here been a speedo party like the one pictured below?

Happy July 4th to all my American readers and members. It has been a tought year for you guys.
I have found over the years that some people find it ‘intellectual’ to bag on America. I particularly saw it during the Bush Jr Presidency and now with Trumpy. I am proud to defend America as a great place and has great people.
I’ve spent a bit of time over there and in recent years over a month each year in Colorado and Americans have been wonderful to me.

I hear there is a storm heading up the east coast but Kip tells me that the weather in the Colorado Rockies is gorgeous and he is getting his speedo on. Not long and he’ll be getting his speedo on here in Australia.
I’ve owned a pair of Australian speedos (I’ll post pics of them tomorrow) but never the stars and stripes…. maybe I should get Kip a pair for him to wear when he arrives.
Alex is pretty keen to hang out with Kip and well… hehehehe.
I said that I wanted to kick some goals this week and so far, so good.

Tomorrow night I’m off for my first ever 4th of July party. It is at my friends house a couple of blocks away and they have a roof top BBQ area. It is an amazing spot and if the weather holds out it should be a hoot.
