I’ve hit the road and after doing a little bit of research, I found a beautiful National Park which had a collection of spectacular beaches. One was even a nude beach.
It was a little windy, but the wind was from the west, so down by the beaches it was beautiful and calm.
As I drove along the 4WD track to the nude beach it dawned on me, it is a bloody Saturday and there were lots of people about (not that many, but I expected to have the place to myself). There were 4 cars in the carpark for the nude beach. I stripped down to my Ryke speedos and started the short walk down to the beach, was nice to stretch my legs after 8hrs in the car.
When I arrived, the ocean was gorgeous but there were fat old couples (mostly) and a few fat old men. And no where obvious for me to get some privacy. With all the nudies about, I felt over dressed in my speedos.
Darn weekends.
The photo below doesn’t look busy, but I was discrete and took a photo where there were no people in it, if I move the camera to the left, there are over a dozen people in shot.
So I moved one cove around and found a beautiful beach. This was more my style. I had a swim (water is a little cooler than Queensland), and the only other people on the beach were a family up one end.
Much more my style.
On the way out of the National Park there was one last beach I wanted to check out. Another gorgeous spot for a quick swim.
As I popped out of the bush, the beach revealed itself and there was a young couple (late 20’s) walked along the beach hand in hand. She was wearing a thong bikini, and he was wearing a classic black speedo. This really is my kind of spot!!!
I had a quick swim, then hit the road again. Night in a cheap motel and I was sound asleep by 8am.
Little bit of a drive today to get to the property, but will stop at another beach for a morning swim.
