There is a chubby young guy (he is 19yo) that I think I have a chance of…. you know what.
At the pool, I’m all business. I get in, I swim my set (1km, 1.5km or 2km), then I stretch, do a few laps of kicking on my back until my feet cramp, then I swim 200m fast to finish. I jump out of the pool, put my shorts on over my speedos, and walk home.
Unless, I see two young guys walking in to the change rooms looking like they were up to no good, click here to head about that.
Months ago, I’m doing my stretches and this guy in the lane next to me is standing there. I didn’t want to chat, but it would be rude for me not to have a chat. I asked him what he was training for?
He said he is training for the Noosa Triathlon which is first weekend in November, I haven’t done it myself, but I’m familiar with it, Olympic distance, so 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
We shake hands and introduce ourselves, his name is Daniel.
In the next 5 minutes I found out that Daniel is 19yo, 2nd year Engineering student, grew up local and lives with his folks.
Now let me describe Daniel, he wears jammers (not a speedo), a little chubby, just short of 6 foot tall. Full head of dark hair. He probably shaves his face twice a month (if that) and I think once he looses his baby fat, he’ll grow in to a good looking man. He reminds me, of me at 19yo.
Daniel seems straight, but we will see…..
I swim 3 days a week and maybe once a week Daniel and I cross paths, we say g’day and call each other by name.
Today is Wednesday and swimming today, Daniel is in the lane next to me. And he is wearing a red speedo! He usually wears jammers.
Daniel gets all nervous and says that he got the confidence to wear a speedo watching all the other great swimmers (he didn’t mention me, there are some really great swimmers at my pool).
There is a footy game on tonight, my Landlord (who fucks me) and a bunch of str8 mates are coming over to my place for a BBQ and watch the game. I mentioned that to the Chubby Guy. “I’m watching the game at my place, you are welcome to join us.”
Daniel said he’d love to come along. I gave him my address, and I let it slip…. bring your red speedo along, we might have a late night swim. It is the middle of winter here, no way we are going for a late night swim…. but I love guys in speedos, hehehe.
I’ll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow……
