Gay Ski Week here in Queenstown has started. I’ve noticed on some of the online dating sites that I use that there are guys coming to town for it so I might see if I can get some action from some of the gay tourists.
And if any of you guy are in town, do some laps at the local pool and look out for me wearing AussieBum’s – I’ll make sure I wear them all week. Unfortunately, today the weather is absolutely miserable and both resorts here are closed – just imagine what all those boys are getting up to (probably not working and watching the rugby like I am).
If I see a guy at the pool this week wearing these speedos…. I’ll know he is here for gay ski week – I’m not sure I could walk down the beach in these.

Hmm, maybe I should go to Queenstown and spend the week skiing and swimming. I’m on enforced hiatus here in Christchurch since they closed the university after yesterday’s earthquake.
I just heard that the uni is closed for an extra week.
Someone else I spoke to today got into the closed area in the center of Christchurch and said it looked like a war zone.

Yeah, a friend of mine lives in an apartment in the city centre. Or rather, lived, since the building is likely to be condemned and they haven’t been allowed near it yet.
