Last week I was playing golf and I slightly topped a tee shot but it went down the middle.
A friend of mine called it a ‘condom’ shot. I have never heard that before and he explained that it doesn’t feel as good but it is safe.
I really didn’t expect to blog about that golf joke but I was just watching some US News on NPR (yes I love my Fox News but I watch all sorts) and one of the commentators said that half of pregnancies in the US are unplanned and half of those pregnancies result in abortion. Those figures really startled me.
For those of you who have been reading this for a while will know that I have a zero tolerance attitude towards unprotected sex – with men or women and it still startles me when people say ‘don’t worry about’. Well, yeah I will worry about it thank you very much. From those pregnancy figures obviously a lot of people out there are not worrying about it.

Condoms during oral sex – I don’t myself but I have had a couple of guys put a condom on me before sucking me off.

Finally I resorted to a sleeping aid so that I could get some much needed rest. Thank goodness it kicked in at 2 00 a.m. In spite of being reasonably comfortable in my personal preparedness efforts to be independent and thrive regardless of the scenario I do have a nagging thought that plagues me and won t let me sleep at night.
