Arena Swimwear in Colorado

I have so much to tell you guys!!!

Last night about 10pm I arrived at Kips place in Breckenridge, Colorado. But the last time I posted I was in San Francisco. I had one of the HUGEST nights of my life in Reno. I drove my beautiful new car 1,200 miles (1,900kms). I picked up Kips bonus/Xmas present. And ever since I crossed the Utah/Colorado state border it has been snowing.

However, the most important thing I need to tell you about is what I found in one of my ‘storage’ boxes today. A pair of white arena speedos which I had completely forgotten about. They are tiny but they are amazing – I’m wearing them now as I write this to you.

I bought them last year and I had completely forgotten about them. I think I lost maybe 5kgs while I was in New Zealand so that might be it but these things are awesome. They ride super low (they must be like one of those japanese cut suits) but they fit well – sorry if that sounds like an oxymoron.

So I’ve been wearing them all day and as I think they are a perfect fit Kip hasn’t fucked my arse yet today and until I take these off… he won’t be.

I have to tell you about Reno…..

Well, because I have a memory for such things, I am quite surprised you didn’t remember you had those–because they certainly made an impression on me last year when you wrote about them! 😉

It is fun to rediscover things in storage…I’ve done a lot of that in the last few months, and there are at least two small suitcases chock full of speedos of various types that I have not even broached yet…!

I’m glad to hear you’re there, and have enjoyed the trip. It is snowing here now in western WA, which means that people are already going ape-shit, stocking up on food like it’s going to be the apocalypse, canceling all plans, etc. Drives me nuts…but then again, as a non-driver, non-home-owner, non-outdoor-pet-owner, etc., these things are much less stressful for me.

Dr. Phil,

Like yourself, I was completely shocked that I hadn’t remembered these white Arena’s.

Perhaps having lost a belt buckle has made the difference on my opinion of them. Maybe it was a summer of swimming 4 days a week where I was more comfortable wearing speedos – I love them but I still am anxious about wearing them in public.

These Arena’s are not yet for public display at the local pool but maybe another 5kgs and a black pair of the same size I might be able to get away with.

It is 1am here in Colorado – and it is still snowing here mate.

Dave
