Late night blog post for you guys – been a super busy day here and I’m finally going to hit the sack (I might play with my sack and then hit the sack).

The weather here has been pretty cold and tomorrow it is supposed to be a high in the single digits (C) and today there was barely anyone on the beach at all.  Very much non-speedo weather and as such I haven’t gotten Tyler out to Birdie Beach for some outdoor speedo fun.

I do have a date with the surfer chick tomorrow night.  My first str8 dinner date in years.

I think that I’m going to wear speedos under my jeans tonight just in case there is any hanky panky.  I’d like the surfer chick to know what to expect – hehehe.

Today I wanted to post these photos.  I love the confidence in both of these photos which I’d love to see more of from guys in speedos.  At the pool I know Alex and I are pretty confident walking around in our speedos but I admit I’m not as confident at the beach or around groups of people.

I think this photo is taken in Hawaii.  I love the confidence of the guy in the speedo and how great he looks compared to the dork in the dork shorts.  Well done mate!!!

On Friday night I met this chick at the pub and we have a surfing date this morning.

Turns out she went to uni (college) with some of my buddies up here and she has recently returned to town after living and working overseas for a while.

I’m told she is a ripping surfer and since I’m a pathetic surfer the boys suggested she take me out.  Since Friday we’ve exchanged a few text messages and she is keen and will be arriving here in an hour or so.

After surfing I’m going to cook up some breakfast and see how things go.  There won’t be too much flesh on display as we’ll both be wearing wetsuits but it should be fun.

Yesterday I went on my ‘blind’ date that I was setup with.

I’ll call her Laura on here.

Laura is a cutie, Canadian with “aye’s” finishing every sentence, a little skinny but I suppose that is better than being a little fat.  She is super bubbly and a little hardcore.  I think she is a year younger than me – maybe 2.

So I called her over the weekend but she was working and we arranged to go for a hike yesterday (Monday) and the weather turned it on.  I picked her up in town and took her out to one of my favourite short hikes (2hrs, maybe a little more).  We talked the whole way ’round and when we finished up it was about 3pm so we dropped into a pub in town and had a couple of beers.

Laura had to work later so that was where the day was going to end.

I think it went really well and she txt’d me today – woohooo!!!!

The next ‘date’ is going to be to head up the mountain for some snowboarding and on the way home I’ll take her for a swim – should I speedo it up or not?  I’m not sure which day it will happen, will depend on the weather, but should be in the next couple of days for sure.

I can’t remember the last time I ‘dated’ a girl.  I was pretty nervous – with guys I’m always a little nervous but not as nervous as I was yesterday.

I’ll keep you guys posted on what happens.

On another front – I got a message from one of my online dating sites here in town from a guy who was keen to catch up.  This was last week some time and my reply was that I was keen to  have a discrete ‘fuck buddy’ in town and can’t wait to catch up with him.

Perhaps that was cumming on a little too strong as I haven’t heard from him since.
