I’ve made it back to Aussie all in one piece.  Travels went well except that I hear that it has DUMPED snow in Colorado pretty much since the second that I left.

The house is great and everything, including net, is all hooked up.  I’ll have some organizing to do early next week but it feels great to be back.

My car is running great and last night I caught up with a bunch of mates and we went to the Beery (Terrigal Beer Garden).  Amazingly beautiful women whom I didn’t have much, if any of a chance with.  People think I have an American accent which is just silly.  Was pretty well behaved and walked back home well after midnight along the beach – very awesome!!!

This morning I woke up and the first thing I did was go for a quick swim, then walked down to the bakery and grabbed a pie.  Catching up with the boys for a surf in a bit and for dinner I’ll be grabbing some Godfathers Pizza – ow I’m looking forward to that.

I better check on some work stuff, enjoy the powder in Colorado you buggers.

Vegas is over and done with….  I’m writing this post while sitting in the back of my Durango as we drive through Utah (not sure if I’ll be able to publish this until we get into the hotel tonight).

Our plan is to crash somewhere in Utah tonight, then spend tomorrow night in Moab (now that the Government is open again we can visit the nation parks) and be back in Breckenridge on Tuesday.

Whenever I get away or change where I live, I feel motivated.  One project that I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into is my line of DE Swimwear.  I’ve had a great response from guys who wear them, my manufacturer is great to work with and I love wearing them.  I just need to get off my butt, spent the time and the money and get it done.

Another swimwear company, Budgy Smugglers looks to be doing great and I love how much fun they bring to their speedos.  I’ve had one pair of their speedos and they are just a plain lycra that wasn’t the best quality but I love their angle and their enthusiasm.

Last week I posted some pics of Eros speedos (the black ones with green trim and drawstring).

I’ve also got some really hot pics of guys wearing 2wink speedos (they kinda look like underwear don’t you think?).

Then there is AussieBum of course.

Caussie make a nylon speedo and they are a regular contributor on TheSpeedoForum.com which is great.

Obviously AussieBum is making a shit tonne of money but I wonder how these other companies are doing.

I think that buying speedos is much easier now that we can buy them online.  I remember being nervous and buying speedos at Rebel Sports growing up and I’m sure many other people feel the same way.

I know that some readers here have very impressive speedo collections but I wonder how many pairs that most of us have (I fit into the exception as well having a very large speedo collection)?

I’m interested to hear your thoughts – if I get enough feedback maybe I’ll create a survey.

Today I went to the pool for a swim and Kip was out doing some errands when I left.  I have the red Durango (my SUV) but it was nice enough to walk down to the rec center.

On the way home I thought I’d pick up some bread and milk for the house and while I’m walking down the isle I hear this voice in my right ear….. speedo coming up behind you.

It was Kip, he had the same idea on his way home and snuck up on me.

When I turned around he pulled down the front of his jeans to flash the Australian Flag Turbo’s that I bought him for Xmas.

I was wearing a pair of Aussiebum Porsteas – I swam in a pair of black Speedo brand speedos.

Let me tell you…. Kip and I were down to our speedos seconds once we got back into the house and there were some very pornographic things done to each other.

Goes to show, you never know if the guy walking past you in the shopping isle might have a speedo fetish too.

How was everyone’s Xmas?

It has been cold and snowy in Colorado but Kip and I have been getting up to some hottub mischief, so far only on our own.  Today was an awesome day as we got up for first chair and had some of Kip’s mates up.  We snowboarded until about midday (it was pretty busy by then), I came home and had a nap and once I finish this post we’ll be hitting up the hottub.  The mates are str8 guys so no real penis potential but they are good guys.

Last weekend we were hoping that Kip’s lady friend that we shared earlier in the month would be up but she had to cancel although she still sounds super enthusiastic so we’ll see what happens.

I gave Kip these Aussie speedos (I posted about them a few weeks ago) for Xmas and a lego of the Millenium Falcon – he hasn’t started playing with it yet but I’ll be sure to get photos for you guys – we thought it was a big of a joke but hey, we are nerds.

This morning I was up early to finish some work stuff that had to be finished and I ended up playing/tidying up the blog, I’ve got a few new headers in mind so over the next week or so I’ll change them about.  Please let me know which ones you like and which ones you don’t.

Summer is heating up in Australia just as things are getting colder here in the Northern Hemisphere.  I awoke this morning to an empty bed, I did go to bed with someone, I think her name starts with C but that is about all I can remember.  Looking out my window, there was a dusting of white stuff on the ground, the first since I arrived here nearly a month ago now.

However, today in Queensland, a friend of mine posted on Facebook that it was 39C in Brisbane/Gold Coast today – holy smokes that is hot, perfect speedo weather, nearly compulsory speedo weather.

Sometime over the weekend I was looking for some Australian speedos – the best ones I found were a waterpolo speedo made by Turbo (pictured below).  I thought I might buy a couple of them for Kip and myself since I’ll be spending Australia Day here in America.  It is a Saturday this year which is perfect and I’m sure we’ll have some kind of compulsory speedo event at Kip’s place/hottub.

Anyone got any better ideas for an Aussie speedo?
