I just walked in the door after a busy weekend, a very typical Aussie Summers weekend.  Some friends I grew up with invited me to hang out at their family house on the coast.  I have knuckled down and am doing some great work, I thought I shouldn’t miss out on hanging out with friends.  I am a bit of a hermit during our summer holiday season.

It was like I was a kid again.

No shoes were worn during the three days, from the time I woke up, to the time I fell asleep (which was much earlier than my usual bedtime) I was playing outdoors.  Swimming in the ocean and river, cricket on the beach, tennis, ping pong, card games and my first game of Monopoly in forever.

Was a great weekend.

Now I’m going to do some house chores, two loads of washing, make up corned beef for dinner and I will probably be in bed by 8pm.  Tomorrow, I think I will head up to the local ‘unofficial’ nude beach…. after a weekend of family time, might be time for some adult time.

What do you guys have going on this weekend?

I wish that I was at the beach with the guy pictured below…. interesting yellow/gold speedos, I would like to see them up close and in person.

This weekend I am down in Brisbane hanging out with some friends and doing ‘family’ stuff, terribly boring particularly seeing how great the weather is. I’ll be back on the beach cum Monday!!!

Winters here in Australia can be beautiful, low 20’s (70F) blue sky days.  The days get short, but not too bad, it is dark around 5:30pm right now.  I think because I’ve spent a bit of time with Kip (my server admin and tech guru) in Colorado I am a little bit accustomed to cold and I find the water is warm enough all year round.

But, the last week or so it has been colder here.  This morning it was 10C in the house here.  Again, it is a gorgeous day without a cloud in the sky, there is just a little bit of a southerly wind (coming up from Antarctica).

It is also a great time of the year at my pool because there is nobody there.  Maybe three out of the last four times I’ve been there, I’ve been the only person.  Which means zero potential for any naughty speedo action, or even some speedo eye candy, but it is nice not having to share lanes or cancel because there is a school swimming carnival on.

Around this time of year I start to plan my trip to see Kip in Colorado for a snowboarding trip in January.

With all the covid travel restrictions I really can’t see that being possible.  We talk pretty much every day but I really miss that guy, and his hottub.

OK, I should get off to the pool.  One thing I’m working on today for you guys is one of my favourite speedo threesome movies.  It is nearly ten years old but it is really hot.  I’ll have it ready for you guys to watch on Friday.

For those in the northern hemisphere, enjoy the warm weather, and for my mates in the southern hemisphere, be brave.

Australian summers are awesome.  Beach, cricket, beach cricket, drinking, barbie (grilling for those in North America), speedos and bikinis of course.  But, the downside is how bloody busy things get.  Our school/uni/college holidays cover pretty much all of December and January.  Living in a beach town as I do, it is a zoo here.  I’ve even started going grocery shopping super early just so I can get a darn park.

A few days ago I went up to the nude beach (Birdie Beach) and it was chaos, no such much with nudies just people in general.  I need to find a more private place like the guys below did…. does anyone have any ideas?

I love the fury that I’ve unleased by my post a couple of days ago. I do giggle at how easy some people are to stir up.

In comments and a stack of emails I’ve been called a ‘homophobe’ among other things.  I love it that people who are upset at me referring to a flamboyant male hostess who wasn’t doing his job to my satisfaction as a ‘fairy’ and yet these same folks are free flowing with their adjectives.  I’ve having a laugh an my friends who know me personally are having a laugh as well.  No need to get to precious guys – maybe that is why I have never been in a fight, it takes a lot more than calling me names to get me upset.

Tonight I’m having a quiet Friday in and hopefully kick the last vestiages of jet lag and tomorrow night I’m having some friends around for dinner – I think they are bringing their baby which sucks but ow well.
