I actually prefer speedos over nude, is that weird?  I prefer a chick to be in a bikini than nude as well.

It is funny though, my friend Brenton Parry (who took the photos in yesterdays Waterpolo Team shoot) is a huge nudist.  He knows all the nude beaches around Sydney and stuff, maybe I should go down and give the whole ‘nude thing’ a try.

Brenton is an old online mate of mine who started his blog Aussielicious.com.au around the same time I started AussieSpeedoGuy.com.  We’ve worked on different things over the years and these days Kip even keeps his blog online.  Unlike me and my passion for speedos, Brenton takes it a little bit further and loves being nude.

It is fun following his adventures on his blog and yesterday he posted the comments below regarding speedos and modesty.

Given how paranoid most guys are in gym locker rooms about anyone seeing their junk you’d be forgiven for thinking that they go to the beach in neck-to-knee swimwear from an era long gone. You’d be wrong. Apparently all it takes for guys to feel comfortable is a tiny little piece of fabric covering their genitals. Australian’s all around the country are fans of speedo style swimwear. Sure there are guys that wear boardshorts but, especially in Sydney all the guys that live in the gym and get changed under a towel are the same guys wearing the skimpiest, tightest swimwear around. More often than not that same swimwear is designed to emphasise the exact area that they never show.

All of the popular brands seem to have a “pouch” style of swimwear designed to highlight and thrust forward your junk. I get that it makes it appear a bit more impressive than it really may be but it’s not going to turn a 4 incher into a 12 incher is it? Speedo style swimwear and even boardshorts when they are wet really don’t leave a lot to the imagination so it’s amazing that it only takes that little piece of fabric to not only preserve our modesty, barely, but also to give us the confidence to walk down the beach feeling great.

Interesting thoughts, during my time in America I found that it was the opposite in the locker rooms at the pool, guys were happy to strut around butt naked but nobody else would wear a speedo.  But in Aussie it is the opposite and I agree with Brenton’s sentiments.

Not sure if you guys know Brenton Parry from the blog Aussielicious, but we’ve been online buddies for years. Brenton lives in Sydney and strangely enough our paths have never crossed in person. Apart from getting nude, Brenton is a bit of a photographer/artist and last year he took these photos for a Sydney waterpolo team and I think they are just amazing!!!

I just wonder what kind of hanky-panky these guys get up to in the change rooms/shower after practice. There is no way on the planet I would be able to stop myself from getting on my knees and sucking some of that speedo cock.

Brenton is a mate of mine in Sydney who helped me out with blogging when I first started, I think Brenton started his blog Aussielicious.com.au before I started AussieSpeedoGuy.org (which was nearly 10 years ago).  Brenton is a wonderful photographer and he knows some really hot guys who look fantastic in their speedos.

Do you like getting naked?

I’ve met some guys over the years (str8 guys) who just love getting their gear off.  I remember a snowboarding trip to Perisher when I was 18yo and every single night, 2 of the guys on the trip would end up naked.  Either running around the bar/hotel, sliding down a halfpipe on a mat naked or whatever.  Both guys were and still are 100% straight.

Turns out a kiwi rugby player (Matt Guilford – got drunk and naked – he seems str8 although I hope he isn’t).

My old blogging mate Brenton Parry (who runs the blog Aussielicious.com.au) he is a guy who just loves his nakedness.  I’m more of a speedo over naked but I understand where these guys are coming from.
