At the local pool here I don’t usually use the change rooms (what we here down under call the ‘locker rooms’). The pool isn’t far from my place so I usually walk or ride my bike there. I wear my speedos under my shorts and just slip them off poolside, when I’m done I slip my shorts back on, or sometimes I’ll just wrap a towel around my waist and walk home.

Yesterday, I was going to meet some friends for drinks and then dinner about half an hour up the coast from my place. I decided to swing by the pool for some laps on my way so I drove there. Afterwards, I needed a shower to wash off the chlorine and to put my grown up clothes on.
The change rooms are huge and I imagine most people are like me and don’t really use them. There was one young guy in there who hadn’t been for a swim, but was getting ready to go use the pool. Guys, this is the second instalment of what I have been getting up to with the Young Lifeguard. You can read what I wrote earlier in this blog post.
