Last night Kip and I went out on the town, just to our usual bar.

We ran into some friends of Kip’s from out of town.  They aren’t up here for all the powder (it snowed a grand total of 4″ in November) but have some family who own a condo up here.  It was 2 gay guys and I can’t really remember or figure out how Kip knows them.  Once I saw that they were gay guys my naughty thoughts radar started going off but Kip gave me the signal that these guys weren’t up for anything like that.

So for the rest of the night we drank with these guys, as well as other people who would come in and out of our conversations. I spoke to a girl who was a mountain 7 (out of 10, but the girls aren’t as pretty in the mountains, so she would only be a city 4 – hahahaha, that is Kip’s joke and one I’ve heard from a few people up here).  Turns out this chick just moved to town from Chicago or somewhere in Illinois.  Weird thing was, she doesn’t have a car.  She had one in Chicago, she is late 20’s I suppose, works as an architect or something and can work remote and fly back to Chicago a couple of times a month.  Breckenridge is a nice small town, but it doesn’t have anything you need in it.  I suppose she is just a newbie and old Dave Evans is an old local – hahaha.

That was a bit of a side track,  they had started closing up the bar and one of the gay guys and I were standing on the street waiting for Kip and the other guy.  We had been hanging out all night but it is a bar so no deep and meaningful conversations.  This guy knows that I’m Kip’s boss and he asks me how a ‘straight guys like me’ works in gay porn.  Hahahaha – I love it.

I was trying to think of something cheeky to say in response, somethink like, “In 10 minutes, Kip’s cock will be buried up to his nuts in my arse, these kind of activities help us str8 boys work in gay porn – hahahaha.  I couldn’t put the words together eliquently enough so I just pull the hip of my jeans down and showed him the ‘speedo’ logo on the black speedos that I was wearing.

Kip has been out and about all day and is due home any minute.

So what percentage of the general population is gay.

I’ve heard people throw around 10% and I once heard someone claiming that 50% of the Dutch population classify themselves as ‘bisexual’.

In my experience I’d have to shoot for less than 10% if I think of all the people I know growing up and in my social circles.  Then the question of bisexuality – I think there are less bisexual guys than gay guys – again maybe this is just the circle of people that I grew up with.

Late night here and last night I ran into a guy at one of the local bars and he knows that I write this blog.  We aren’t really friends but I met him 2 years ago when I was here in in town and we have been facebook friends (add me as a friend – link on the right under my foto).

I was going to have a play and be flirty with this guy but he told me that I need to go to ‘hospital’ because I don’t act/accecpt my gayness because I was out with a bunch of guys and girls.

I think he is offended because of my bisexuality.

I had a bunch of folks out with me and I got out of there as fast as I could.  The guy went from a happy go lucky drinking buddy (I bought him a drink) to a nasty gay rights Nazi – as in – you have no rights to write your blog unless you are 100% gay.

‘Dave Evans’ isn’t really gay.  We’ll I’ve sucked cock on multiple occasions, I’ve had cock in my arse on multiple occasions – and I’ve sucked cock and had cock in my arse at the same time on multiple occasions.

None of that makes me gay because I find women attractive.

Wonder if that argument will work with my 98yo Catholic Grandfather.

Have gay guys gotten so comfortable in their own skin that they now feel free to dictate to others what is normal?  Such ignorance.

I’m definitely non-scene, the gay guys I hang out with are close friends and guys I work with and do business with.  I am pretty much str8 acting and this guy doesn’t know me very well so perhaps I’m taking an extreme view and I am trying not to generalize.

This morning on the train ride down to Sydney I was going through my day book/diary (it isn’t like a “Dear Diary” it is more of a “Don’t forget rent is due today” kind of diary).

Every time I make a move or change I like to think of why I moved, what I wanted to achieve perhaps some bad habits I wanted to kick.  Once I’ve figured out where I’ve come from I feel I can really concentrate on where I want to go – what I want to work harder on, a few new bad habits I might want to kick – hahaha.

Moving the coast and the warmer weather I wanted to live a little cleaner, drink a little less or maybe just a little less often, use that to get a little fitter, spend more time working and keep my eyes and ears to the ground for a ‘proper’ relationship.

The last one hasn’t eventuated but I’m not complaining about the fun that I’ve had with Will, Natalie and the sheer number of guys looking to hookup online that have kept me occupied.

I have been partying/drinking less – although last weekend was back to the usual Dave.  I’m happy that I am having less days hungover and it is a habit that I know I’ll be able to maintain.

Work, I’ve been working really hard and particularly in the last 3 months I’ve been on the ball and it has showed with the work that I’m doing, the work that Kip is doing and the projects that are in development.  And a lot of the members at SwimmerBoyz.com are really happy with some of the improvements over there.

The fitness goal is something that has slipped in the last month or so with the colder weather but I have lost about 7.5kgs since I got here and I haven’t changed my diet I’m just exercising more.  I do feel great and I think I look great (it is the eye of the beholder though) – this is going to be a difficult habit to keep in the cold down in Queenstown but I’m really really going to try hard and work on keeping this level of fitness.  There is a pool in town.

I remember back in February I saw an article of this Melbourne gym junkie ‘Paul James’ and how he put on 40kgs – from 80kgs to 120kgs.  A close friend of mine looks as fat as PJ does in his fat fotos and always made an excuse, “he’s always been like that”, “his family are all that big”, “he is retaining water” etc etc.  Seeing those pics of PJ and how he lost that weight again goes to show that there is no excuses…..

I’ve got a couple of days of travel ahead of me and I’m looking forward to the next chapter and if you are still reading this uber long post…. looks like you’ll be along for the ride.
