After a few weeks of gorgeous sunshine we’ve had a rainy week this week.

I make the most of rainy weather by getting lots of work done but I do feel lazy, fat and even a little unmotivated.  With less exercise I find myself not sleeping as well, just slowly staying up later and later as the week has gone on.

Don’t worry, I’m not depressed or anything like that and the weather will change.  And compared to winters else where in the world, this is a cake walk.

Feels nice to write about it and it has motivated me to get my arse to the pool (even if it looks cold and dreary out there).

Next week, the sun will shine and I’ll be back enjoying speedo six packs on the beach….

My weekend was pretty lazy actually, I feel bad but not that bad.  I’ve got a big week lined up with a bunch of work.  Then this weekend Kip and I might go for a little road trip or spend a day paying at A-Basin (ski area that is still open).

I still have no idea what I’m going to do this summer.  My original plan was to be back on the Central NSW Coast (1hr north of Sydney on the beach)  around Feb 1st but that has elapsed.

I don’t really want to spend another winter on the coast and everyone is telling me how nice Colorado is in the summer so that might be an option – with a bit of travel through the US of course, I have never been out to the east coast at all.

If I decide to stay here I’ll definitely have to get involved in some sport or something to meet some folks.  Not sure if they have a waterpolo team up here or maybe I could try my arm at baseball.  I hear they have some rugby teams in Denver but I was terrible at rugby at school and I’d probably just get smashed.  Anything involving speedos of course would be preferable.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be hanging out with a bunch of guys like this.

I haven’t had a ‘Speedo Colour of the Day’ for a while but I had these red speedo pics and I thought why not?

I’m sure looking at this first pic of a super hot asian guy, in the bath wearing red speedos will help you ‘enjoy’ your day.

Talk about hectic – I would want life to be any other way but my 4 weeks in Colorado were awesome but busy.  Not just with snowboarding but with Kip and I working on some projects.

Since I’ve gotten back to Australia, I have been flat out as well.

Today I’m just chilling out.  This blog post is all the work I’m going to do – it feels as though I’ve worked the the last month straight without a day off or to myself.  Again, I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining because I’m not.  I’m just trying to explain how much I am enjoying not having all those things to do.

One thing I did notice this morning is that I’ve lost 7kgs (14 pounds) since before my trip.  I don’t pay much attention to my weight but that was surprising – I do feel good though.  Maybe another 7kgs would do be good.

I might even head to the pool for a swim today – I haven’t had a chance since I got back.

 Part of my exercise routine these days is getting as many sit ups as I can in a day.  I only started when I came back to New Zealand and I think the first day I did like 25 just before I went to bed.  For the next 3 days I couldn’t believe how sore I was.  Now I’m doing about 125 a day (not at once).

And my goal is to look like these guys.  I love the blond guy in the last foto.  Very tastey and a nice six pack.
