The school holidays (same as the summer break for those in the north) is over now and this past week I’ve gotten back in to a nice routine at the pool. The beach is quieter as well which is nice.

One thing I did find out this week is that the waterpolo season has started up again now that the holidays are over. How do I know this? One of my members has invited me to go along to waterpolo training next Saturday (I couldn’t make it today). I have never played waterpolo but due to the uniforms, I’m obviously a fan. I think my swimming should be up to scratch but other than that I will be a complete newbie.

I should go look up the rules.

Anyone here play mens waterpolo?

I might have some naughty thoughts about all those waterpolo speedos guys this week…..

Since I got back to the US I have been watching a little more of the Olympics.

I’m still not a fan but maybe some of the better sports have been on, Olympic Water Polo for one is something I have been trying to follow and the mountain biking is on this Sunday which I’ll try and watch.

I remember as an early teenage kid being on a family trip down to Canberra and going on a tour of AIS (Australian Institute of Sports) and the guy who gave the tour was a swimmer and he said that the waterpolo guys were the ‘Alpha Males’ on campus.  The way he explained it was they were fast and crazy strong.

Unfortunately, the US and Aussie mens water polo teams are both out so I thought I’d post some waterpolo pics today.

I have an interesting redevous lined up for later this afternoon…. a married (to a wife) guy who likes to have some fun on the site that I’ve been talking to online for the last few days.  I”ll post more on this subject/encounter over the next few days you can be assured.

PS – Is waterpolo spelt with a space or not?

I’ve had these two pics and I’ve been trying to come up with something relevent to write with them but I really can’t come up with anything.

So I’m just going to throw them out there.

I’ve been thinking about what other sports I could get into when I get back to Aussie and being surrounded by photos of hot waterpolo guys it is an option although I’ve never played waterpolo.

I don’t think it is a realistic thing to just chuck myself into without any experience at all (I don’t think I’ve ever even held a waterpolo ball) but it is nice to dream.

I’m off tonight to begin my journey back to Australia – it has been a great trip but I’m looking forward to getting back to the beach that is for sure.  I might not be posting for a couple of days.

Last night Kip and I were drinking at a local Irish Pub.  Kip knew a bunch of people and I ended up talking to this pretty hot German guy who was really nice.  I don’t think he was gay and it wasn’t like that but it got me thinking that I haven’t shagged any European guys or Germans to be specific.

From the writing on this guys speedo he is part of the German Water Polo Team….. perhaps I should start with the water polo teams of Europe – hehehe.
