Finally the darn school holidays are over and I get the beach and pool back to myself.  The joys of living in a beach town means that during holidays, it becomes a bit of a zoo.

Sunday was the last day and after a late night (I might have had a couple of drinks too many) I decided to spend the day on my deck working on my speedo tan.

I couldn’t decide which speedo to wear….

Over the last year or so I have seen a few pics of the speedo pictured below, also one with what looks like a popsicle (ice cream).  Does anyone where own one of these speedos?

I don’t think it is something I could really wearing to the pool for lap swimming.

Saying that, today I am going to be brave and for the first time, wear my white Addicted speedos to the pool.  They are well lined so in no way see through (like AussieBums are).

Morning guys (edit – it is afternoon now that I’m finally hitting ‘publish’ on this blog post, but I did start it at about 9am this morning).

Being Easter my little beach town is an absolute zoo, people everywhere so I am hibernating a little bit.  This morning I did manage to go for my morning walk and I was very impressed by all the guys wearing speedos.  The weather is great (a little windy but not a cloud in the sky) so it is speedo weather.

• On my walk I saw two clubbies (life savers) in their twenties get out of the water with some paddle boards wearing their club speedos, they looked fantastic!!!
• I saw a Dad (maybe 40yo) with wife and two kids and he was wearing a very colourful speedo which was pretty hot.
• Right at the end of my hour walk, I usually go for a quick dip at the spot that is closest to my place and right there was what I assumed to be a gay couple frolicking in the water.  One was wearing a pair of AussieBum’s, the other a pair of Budgy Smugglers.
• I was wearing my red Resqme speedos (I took a selfie for you guys when I got home).

When I got home I took a speedo selfie for you guys, jumped in the shower, put on my hot pink AussieBum’s and I’ve been sitting on my little patio just working and enjoying watching the world go by.

I did turn Grindr on and I think I have arranged for a young gay couple (late 20’s) to come over for some fun tonight.  Their profile said one is 100% top and the other is 90% top, looks like I will be 190% bottom.  Whoohooo!!!

Promise I will let you guys know how I go.

Do you guys know, I have never been to a gay wedding.  I can’t believe you guys have never invited me?  I suppose maybe I associate with too many str8 and married (to a woman) guys.

I once went to a gay bachelors party in in the states and it was just as debaucherous as you can imagine (click here to read what I wrote about that experience).

Check out the guys pictured below, that looks like my kind of wedding.  I am going to assume the bloke in the middle is the best man….. the mind wanders…..

I shared some pics of my Turbo speedos that I was wearing at waterpolo training (before I passed my initiation).

Years ago I bought 2 pairs of Turbo speedos and they are the first Turbo’s that I’ve ever owned. They brand themselves as a waterpolo speedo and they seem really heavy duty. The material isn’t lycra but it is shiny and has a nice feel like lycra – perhaps someone from Turbo is reading this and can email me the details. The sizing is a little bit different though – at the same time I bought a pair of Arena lycra speedos of the same size – they Turbo’s are considerable smaller and being a more heavy duty material, they don’t stretch as much either. Next time I’ll go a tiny bit bigger than my usual size.

Here are some old photos I have of my Aussie flag Turbo speedos.  I don’t have them anymore which is a shame, but I am still in contact with the hot American guy that I gave them to… one day I’ll get to see them again (wink, wink).

Male divers (along with waterpolo) are one of the last bastions of guys wearing speedos.

The cutest diver I can think of (I really don’t know of many) is the Englishman, Tom Daly.
