I do feel like speedos are becoming more popular every year….

I think the brand Budgy Smuggler is really part of the cause getting guys to drop their dork shorts.  They are making a bit of fun which is great all round.  I’m surprised at the positive response I have had from chicks over the last few years to me wearing speedos in public (pool doesn’t count because most people wear speedos at the pool).

Just yesterday I was at the big shopping center up here and was in a Surf Shop, they had a section of Budgy Smugglers there which was the first time I have really seen them out in the mainstream.

I have only ever owned one pair of them myself (I think they were given to me by the company way back).  They were a nice lycra speedo which I loved wearing.  No selfies of me wearing them in the archives but here are a couple of pics of them from when I lived on the Central NSW Coast.

Sorry for jumping off quickly yesterday guys.

I was telling you guys how not only are skimpy thong bikini bottoms the current trend, but I was also surprised that two of the guys speedo’d it up as well.  Both were wearing Budgy Smugglers which I really thing have helped get straight guys in to wearing speedos.

This trend, of skimpier swimwear, was even more prevalent yesterday when we went for a hike.  The idea/destination for the hike was a swimming hole and it was gorgeous (I didn’t take my phone but I think I’ll try and get back out there in a few weeks time for a quiet swim during the week).  There were a bunch of people there but it wasn’t as busy as the beach would be.

To my surprise, of the four of us guys in our group, three of us were wearing speedos and the guy wearing dork shorts got teased for not speedo’ing it up.

Wow, how the tides have turned, it wasn’t long ago when the guy wearing speedos was ridiculed.

Today is my last day hanging out with the crew and tomorrow morning I will cruise back.  I am looking forward to Monday waking up in my own bed, not consuming any alcohol (feels like we have been drinking non-stop since Thursday) and doing some exercise.  The school holidays will all be over by Monday as well so my lap pool routine should get back to normal.

Right now I am off to play some tennis (it has been 10 years since I played tennis).  Not sure speedos will be appropriate for tennis…. but if this trend keeps up, maybe it won’t be long.

This weekend was another pretty big one.  Not too much partying, just up early and to bed late entertaining.

After an early night last night, I’m up early (before 6am) and I’ve got a bunch of work to do first thing.  Then I’m going to go to the pool and bang out some laps and then I’m going to spend a few hours at the beach working on my speedo tan and maybe, just maybe, have a speedo guy join me in the dunes.

I also think today is the last day of sunshine for a few days so I want to make the most of it.

Anyone else want to join me on the beach?  I might wear a white speedo today….

Finally I’ve got a chance to sit down and tell you guys about how I punished Kip for chickening out and not wearing speedos to the hot springs a couple of weekends ago.

A quick little bit of background, Kip is my server admin and keeps all this speedo porn flowing down the pipes.  We have worked together for more than 5 years no and it turns out that Kip loves speedos and is openly gay which is great.  Each year I try and come over to Breckenridge for some snowboarding and hottubs and speedos and a combination of all those things – hehehe.  I suppose one could say that Kip and I are work mates, speedo mates and fuck buddies.

While Kip is openly gay and I’m more in the closet (particularly among my friends and family), Kip isn’t used to wearing speedos in public where I don’t care about it.  Might just be an American thing.  Kip does wear speedos in his own hottub and is a huge speedo fan (maybe not as much as I am).

Last weekend Kip decided we should go on a little bit of a road trip and explore some of the hot springs in Colorado.  Sounds bloody awesome to me!!!

There were three planned stops, Glenwood Springs which is a huge pool complex, Radium Hot Springs which is a natural pool on the Colorado River and Hot Sulfur Springs which is a smaller commercial complex with lots of little pools.

Before we left Breckenridge on this road trip I discovered that Kip was thinking of chickening out and not wearing speedos to all the springs.  He wasn’t sure and said he’d think about it and see how busy it was or see if other people were speedo’ing it up.  I was definitely going to be speedo’ing it up and even more so if Kip chickened out.  Then we decided to have a wager on this.

The terms we came to on this bet was the following: if either of us did not wear speedos then that person would have to watch the other person have sex first in front of them without being involved in any way.

I was pretty confident that I’d wear speedos to each of the hot springs but I think Kip was a little concerned…..

I’m not sure why he was so scared but seeing the two of us looking great in our speedos would be fun.

I’m not sure why but I’m up nice and early, strange for a Sunday.  The boys are coming over at about 7am for a surf.  Looking a little overcast so might be wetsuit weather again.

I really think it is a shame that I can’t go surfing in a speedo.  I think I’d wear my Turbo speedos (like the guy in the header image) since they are a more heavy duty material.

These guys don’t mind surfing in their speedos.

The thing that annoys me about nto being able to surf in speedos is that the surf life saving guys can.  Even the surf boy guys, who are normally pretty masculine guys, they always wear speedos.

Darn we have been working a bunch this week.  I don’t know about you guys but when I’m working hard, like 14 hour days, I am no where near as horny as I am when I’m chilling out a bit more.  The weather hasn’t been great this last week either.

Once I publish this post Kip and I are going for a swim.  Kip still isn’t 100% comfortable wearing speedos in public but I’ll make sure he wears them for the 100m walk from my back door to the ocean.
